Federal authorities have formally filed a lawsuit against a North Carolina man who threatened President Joe Biden. Kyle Reeves, a 27-year-old Gastonia resident, appeared in federal court in Charlotte following his arrest on Friday. Prosecutors said Reeves had contacted the White House headquarters several times and issued threats to Biden and others. The calls were made between January 28 and February 1. Reeves is said to have repeated the threats in phone calls made to a secret agent whom he had contacted to talk about the statements he issued.
