  1. Links to amazon for the parts are all out of stock. Do you have alternatives?

  2. Awesome video mate, I am waiting for my Ender 3 V2 to arrive and can't wait. Your video was easy to watch and very informative. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I have subscribed.

  3. thank you so much. I fix all my assemble error based on this video. an easier way to determine what is good instead of base on feel.

  4. Just wondering if anyone can comment on an issue I'm having leveling the bed. It seems that the metal plate that the glass bed mounts to is not level. I notice that the concentric nuts and the spacers are not the same size front to back. The back ones are more than an eighth of an inch taller then the front ones. Any responses would be much appreciated.

  5. Maybe its because I've updated the Firmware myself but the SD card adapter has to be unplugged from the printer each time to read the new SD card in it. Any ideas why? Thanks

  6. This is definitely the most complete assembly tutorial for the Ender 3 V2 on YoutTube so far! Thank you for taking the time and effort to prepare it (especially all the illustrations).
I do want to mention that mounting the X-Axis Assembly to the printer was missed at 33:40, though… I finished mounting the whole printer only to realize the assembly was left out 😅.

Word of advice for those setting up a printer for the first time while adding upgraded parts: Just don't……. Assemble it with all the original parts first, print a couple of tests, and only then add/replace the upgraded parts. It will save you some headache if you mess anything up.

  7. Thanks for the video. For those wondering why the rivet nut is smaller than the screw for the extruder it's because the screw is not supposed to go in the rivet nut, it is supposed to push against it and that is the tension adjustment for the extruder. It took me a while to figure that out. Hope that helps.

  8. This post has been a tremendous help in assembly of my Ender 3 v2 printer. I would of been lost with the supplied assembly instructions included with this printer. Thanks for all your help.

  9. What is the difference between the two fittings? M6 and M10?

  10. Very good instruction, setup worked perfectly so far, on to bed leveling next! Thanks!!

  11. Great video – made assembly so much easier. a couple small things where missing like the feed wheel, insetting the boden tube, and a couple more – but it helped so much – thank you man!

  12. Would you suggest an ender 3 v2 as a starter Printer? i´d like to use it for tabletop terrain and some simpler minis.

  13. Your video clip convinced me to buy Ender 3 V2 and all recommended parts. My installation and was easy unlike my first Ender 3 installation

    Many thanks !

  14. Fantastic assembly video.
I watched this video before my Ender 3 V2 arrived and again yesterday as I was assembling my printer.
Made putting it together much more straightforward.
I took your advice and put the yellow springs on. Mine were 25mm vs 20mm, so I adjusted the z-stop to compensate.
Your info for leveling the x-axis and checking the distance of the top and bottom distance on the vertical extrusion are great tips other videos miss.

  15. merci …hepfull

  16. So on cura it don’t have the option for the v2 should I use the ended 3 or pro for setting?

  17. Would I need that full 17 dollar kit or just the couplers? Where can I find those?

  18. Massive thanks for this video, really helped out! Took me about 5 hours to build because I had to upgrade the springs and tubing and Extruder, didn’t wanna mess anything up! Bedding levelling and first print were spot on! Cheers

  19. how to get the Creality slicer?

  20. Tom. Just discovered your channel and this video. I'm getting my V2 tomorrow and so excited. Watching this video and the tips and tricks you provide to make a better build is just so nice. Thank you for doing this and I appreciate your video.

  21. 20:46 Youre using the bed as a makeshift square but the bed may not be level at this point.

  22. "These parts will cost ya few bucks/cents…." yeah more like $30 for springs and tube fitting….

  23. is it me or is the step for mounting the extruder rail to the vertical rails missing?

  24. There are many videos about setting up a Creality Ender 3 V2 – but this one is the best. Wished I had watched it before I built mine.

Tips to highlight here are: loosen the eccentric screws before you slide parts onto the rails. If you don't, you will damage the wheels, and experience a small "ka-chunk" in about 3-4 spots on the rail. However I've found this doesn't seem to affect print quality.

Also, when installing the Z axis limit switch, use the wrench as the video advises, or as the manual suggests align the bottom of the switch with the rail. Both get it into the right spot, though I found having it a touch lower (lower it, say, half a wrench depth, or with the tab just slightly higher than the bed) will give you more play when levelling the bed, as one of my corners was just a bit too low when levelling, especially with the cheap springs. I love the advice to upgrade the springs, great call.

Visually inspect the "up" and "down" words on the top of the leveling wheels. A bit hard to see, and I don't know why this helped me but it made a difference.

  25. Wish I would have found this when I built mine. I have a slight sag to the left side that I'm guessing is because I didn't do the step you included about leaving the screw lose and leveling it. I'll have to go back now and take it apart. At least I know how to fix it.

  26. I used your video to put my ender 3 v2 together last night. Only problems I had were I used nylocks on the bed screws which mad the bed higher when I put the yellow springs in. and even though I believed I had the gantry level, I found that there was more than 1 mm difference side to side and had to relevel it again. My level print went ok and I did the cube. Came out exactly , by calipers to 20 mm, but had a very small elephant foot. I am happy with the printer.

  27. Will these upgrades work with Ender 3 pro? I got it for Christmas

  28. Thank you so much. You made this process very manageable. I'm a complete noob to this hobby and I've got it all working up until this point. Time to move on to your bed leveling video. You are a star.

  29. EDIT: Thank you for such a concise well executed video! The amount of explanation you put into each step is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, the links in the description are out of stock. While searching for alternatives, I noticed there's a kit from Comgrow that has the fittings and springs, but also includes a capricorn PTFE tube and a metal feeder extruder frame for a pretty good price (37 CAD, where I would pay 13 for the springs alone). Would you consider this a valid upgrade? (I'm buying a 3 v2 in a couple of days as my first 3D printer)

  30. Creality's customer service SUCKS! I ordered an E3V2 from their website back in November, it arrived with a broken switch. BS emails from them with tracking numbers to other countries. It's been a month I'm still waiting for a replacement part. NEVER again will I buy a Creality product.

  31. Very much a newbie – my printer came today and I am trying to follow your instructions. Could not get the fan shroud off to change out the coupler, though, and I am worried that if I force it I will break it. Any suggestions?

  32. Add the leveling link to the description.

  33. Thanks for this & the bed leveling video. I am pretty experienced with 3d printing, but these really helped avoid a few pitfalls, and saved me a bunch of time. unboxing to first perfect print just over 3 hours.

  34. After i forced it down or doesn't want to go back up on the rail unless I spin the motor itself ? How do i fix

  35. Thanks for the tip about the eccentric nuts. Fixed all my issues I was having. I had a heap of movement in my x axis and it was causing a tonne of issues I didn’t know how to fix. Yes I am a complete newbie, I have only had my 1st printer for 2 days.

I used an engineering set square to make sure everything squared up due the build.

  36. FYI in regards to the bowden tube coupler replacement. It appears they are including a clip to fit under the black ring now. My stock coupler came with a blue clip under it.

  37. Superb video Tom, I didn’t even bother with the supplied manual, my Ender 3 v2 printing great. Many thanks!!
