I feel like CoD 4 was the best CoD simply because it was out and played in it's peak all before all this YouTube stuff. So many people make YT channels and vids now, and so many upload "the best custom classes" or "best headglitches" and all that stuff. Next thing you know, all these kids are camping with like a target finder LMG and the game sucks. Since CoD 4 was first, it played the best, making it the best in many people's eyes.

Cod 4 is the Call of Duty, 90% fun, 10% bullshit. Skill level is prevalent in this game whereas any noob can kill you thanks to revenge based spawn system, death streaks, noob toobs and fucking lag compensation in later shitter games.
