1. Các bước làm dạng Word Form

• Đối với dạng bài word form, hiểu được nghĩa của từ thì bài sẽ trở nên rất dễ dàng. Tuy nhiên, không phải lúc nào chúng ta cũng có đủ vốn từ vựng để làm việc này. Do đó, khi gặp bài tập dạng này. các em đừng cố gắng hiểu nghĩa của từ.
• Dưới đây là hai bước làm bài sẽ giúp các em:
  • Bước 1: Nhìn vào từ phía trước và sau chỗ trống để xác định TỪ LOẠI mình cần điền là từ gì.
  • Bước 2: Nhận dạng xem đâu là từ cần tìm trong 4 đáp án.

IELTS TUTOR giải thích:

• Bước 1:
  • Các em nhìn vào từ đứng trước, đứng sau chỗ trống.
  • Xuất hiện từ “all” –> Ô trống chỉ có thể là danh từ
  • B và D bị loại vì là động từ  (Attend (v) tham gia, tham dự)
• Bước 2: 
  • Vấn đề là cả A (-ce) và C (-ee) đều là danh từ.
  • Lúc này các em phải xác định xem ô trống cần điền là danh từ chỉ người hay vật (Thường sẽ nhìn vào đuôi (ee – người) hoặc có thể nhìn vào động từ để xác định)
  • A: attendance: sự tham gia
  • C: attendees: những người tham gia/ người tham dự
  • –> Đáp án sẽ là C

2. Lưu ý bài tập Word Form

Để làm tốt dạng bài tập từ vựng, ta cần lưu ý các điểm sau đây:

• Đây cũng là một cách rất hữu hiệu để nhận biết và phân biệt loại từ trong bài tập word form.

III. DẠNG Language Function

• Đây là dạng bài tập câu giao tiếp trong Tiếng Anh, thường xuất hiện từ 1-2 câu trong đề thi.
• Khác với các dạng khác, các em không thể học thuộc mà chỉ có thể tùy vào từng ngữ cảnh trong đề để hiểu nghĩa và chọn đáp án chính xác nhất.

• BƯỚC 1: ĐỌC ĐỀ

Để làm được dạng câu giao tiếp, trước hết ta cần đọc ngữ cảnh và câu nói của người kia, và suy đoán ra nội dung cần có của câu trả lời.

• BƯỚC 2: ĐỌC 4 ĐÁP ÁN, SUY LUẬN LOẠI TRỪ

Sau đó, ta đọc 4 đáp án. Và loại trừ theo 2 cách :

1. Loại các đáp án quá bất lịch sự
2. Loại các đáp án không phù hợp với nội dung cần điền

Đáp án còn lại sẽ là đáp án đúng.
